My second gardening season has officially begun!
Actually, garden prep probably should’ve begun back in January, but Walker and I have been catching sicknesses almost nonstop ever since that nasty virus a couple months ago, so I’ve fallen behind on pretty much everything these days. But I’m doing the best I can with what strength I do have, and all in all I’d say I’m doing pretty good. I’ve already bought soil for my indoor seedlings, as well as a bunch of heirloom seeds online, and whenever I’ve had strength for it I’ve been working on weeding the backyard. It’s been slow going, but things are starting to get done!
I just love gardening so much. It’s such a magical thing for me because there isn’t any part of it that I don’t genuinely enjoy or find rewarding. It’s so rewarding planting tiny seeds and watching them grow up and produce fruit and colorful harvests. It’s so rewarding to be able to pick a small bouquet of fresh flowers every morning. And it’s so rewarding just being surrounded by so much life. In short, gardening is the best and I am so glad that a new season has begun ❤
