cursing the people we love most.

jesus said “don’t curse”
and yet
i’ve heard it said so loud

that you are praying
for hurt and pain
to tear apart their life

i know you say
you’re doing good
for years i’ve heard you out

but i guess i just
don’t understand
how cursing can ever be right
